Family Wills Surrey is a professional company offering a tailored, bespoke service for the drafting of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and other areas involved with the safeguarding of family and assets in the unfortunate event of death or incapacity.

Our aim is to make the whole process of writing your will as easy and convenient as possible, at a very affordable price.

This is achieved by

• Visiting you in the comfort, privacy and security of your own home or office. No making appointments to visit a solicitor in their offices at their convenience. We will visit you at a time that suits you including evenings and weekends, therefore you don't need to take unnecessary holiday or time off from your working life.
• Speaking and explaining in easy to understand plain English.
• By offering a 1st class service, at an affordable cost, our intention is that when the whole process is complete our clients will unhesitatingly feel able to recommend our services to their friends, family and colleagues.

We are fully qualified Will Writers and appointed representatives of the New Leaf Will Writers Federation which, in itself, is a guarantee of the highest possible levels of integrity and professionalism.

As such we adhere to a strict code of conduct which ALWAYS puts the client and their needs first.

Professional Indemnity. We are covered by a substantial level of Professional Indemnity Insurance which means that all wills are independently double checked to ensure legal compliance thus mitigating the possibility of successful future challenges.

How we work

There is no charge made for our time or travelling to a meeting on the basis that this is within a reasonable distance. Similarly there is no call out fee and we don't charge an hourly rate like solicitors.

We will give you a set price for the services you require 50% of which will be paid at the first meeting and the balance payable when the final document is produced.

Before our first meeting we will send you a free information pack which will include instructions and guidance on how to prepare for the first meeting and what information will be required. For example you will need to ensure that you have got the agreement of those you want to nominate as executors and attorneys. Also you will need to have available the particulars of each, including full names and addresses.

This allows more time to discuss your specific wishes and needs with your advisor and once these have been covered to your satisfaction we will be able to commence drafting your will subject to our written Terms of Business and the initial payment of 50% of the fee.
